I watch stuff like this and realize how far we’ve come:

The disparity between the rate of technological innovation in traditional education and the rate elsewhere is society is absolutely incredible. Shocking really. Most teachers have no clue how to integrate technology into the classroom and at the same time you have other segments of society that are pulling off stuff like the video above. It makes you wonder how much longer the field of traditional teaching is going to be relevant.

I read Dumbing Us Down over the Labor Day weekend. Now this article from Fast Company. Yup, John Taylor Gatto is my new hero.
