As part of the transition to being able to charge for multi-student classes and pay teachers, we’re moving to a weekly pay period. The main reason for this is that when we’re collecting many payments from students for individual classes, there’s actually a very high cost, both fee and labor-wise to process all of them individually (just imagine when you have a hundred students in a class!). We were considering batching them monthly, but don’t want teachers to have to wait that long, so we have pushed to put weekly payments in place.
